Top bloke takes top prize

Hello there Son, Son, Son and Daughter-I-L and Daughter-I-L-to-be.

It's very late at night for your parent/ parents/ parent-in-law/ parent-in-law-to-be/ FG/ FG-to-be to be up.
But we had a late night knock at the door tonight by one very elated person who is closely related/step closely related to you all.

For a whole year he has been planning and gearing up for an-in-trade national competition. These past few days has seen the Epsom Showgrounds being busy with the NZ Culinary Fare. A national fare of all the restaurants and classy eating/drinking places within NZ.
Someone you all know has been competing in nerve wracking competition over the past few days in a variety of specific competitions relating to professional waitering. Tonight, the closing night, was the supreme award night held at the Ellerslie Race Course to celebrate the fare and to announce the awards for all the various competition held over the 4 day period - such as NZ Restaurant of the Year, NZ Chef of the Year, etc. etc. to NZ Professional Waiter of the Year.

Your brother/ step-brother/ step-brother-in-law/ step-brother-in-law-to-be WON THE NATIONAL NZ PROFESSIONAL WAITER OF THE YEAR!

HE'S DONE IT!!!

He has aimed at this for a whole 12 months and he pulled it off. The past two weeks he's worked over 70 hours each week in preparation. And now - He's got certificates galore, medals, a magnificent trophy that would compete with anything we have in our massage room, a huge cup, a cheque for $NZ 2,000.00, and a letter telling him that he has been given a trip to a new hotel/resort in Fiji (can't remember the name of it but it's 20 mins out from Nadi - 5 Star - and not opening until end of this year) at any time he wants where he has 7 night accommodation and for 5 of those days he will be working as New Zealand Professional Waiter of the Year to gain him international experience.

So maybe Pete & Tash, it would be a good idea to return to Fiji sometime next year to celebrate your anniversary after all!?

We're so very proud of him - just wanted to share it with the people who matter to him.
